Some of the top rated safari attractions include

Serengeti National Park
This is Tanzania’s most popular tourist attraction consisting of acacia trees, savanna grasslands, woodlands and small forests.

Serengeti is home to elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffe, impala, hyenas, eland, gazelle, ostriches and wild dogs. The annual great migration is one of the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles.

Mount Kilimanjaro
The “roof of Africa” is the highest mountain in Africa. It is also the highest free-standing mountain on earth. One of the world’s most accessible high summits, a beacon for visitors from around the world.

Most climbers reach the crater rim with little more than a walking stick, proper clothing and determination. On the lowland slopes, much of the mountain is farmland, with coffee, banana, cassava, and maize crops grown for subsistence and cash sale. Once inside the park, thick lowland forest covers the lower altitudes and breaks into alpine meadows once the air begins to thin.

Ngorongoro Crater
one of Africa’s most popular attractions and is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa. Sometimes described as an ‘eighth wonder of the world.

Its one of the most likely areas in Tanzania where you can spot the endangered Black Rhino, as a small population is thriving in this idyllic and protected environment. Your chances of encountering leopard and fabulous black-maned lions here are also good.

Tarangire National Park
It’s famous for its large herds of massive elephants and home to the world’s largest elephants. There are huge, ancient baobab trees complementing the beautiful terrain.

Tarangire National Park is often visited in combination with Serengeti or Ngorongoro. It is relatively close to Arusha and is also the only national park in the area where you can spot a large variety of animals, including many predators. This makes Tarangire the perfect national park for a daytrip as well.

Zanzibar

A collection of islands on Tanzania’s section of the Indian ocean. Zanzibar is semi-autonomous from the mainland and has a unique cultural heritage dating back to the early centuries. It was an important trading center connecting the islands to the mainland during centuries of Arab occupation.
The key tourist attraction in Zanzibar is the beautiful white sand beaches and Stone Town. Stone Town is home to some of the top cultural and historical sites in Tanzania – some dating back to the early 15th Century.
The Island is heaven for water sports activities such as swimming, snorkeling, diving with lots of luminous fish or just grazing over nearby coral gardens and pods of dolphins frolic offshore
